The Vancouver Giants won the Memorial Cup on Sunday, beating the Medicine Hat Tigers 3-1.
Michal Repik scored the go-ahead goal with 4:55 left in the third period, and Spencer Machacek added an empty-net goal and Mario Bliznak also scored. Tyson Sexsmith made 14 saves, allowing only Darren Helm’s goal.
