Nail-biting Finish in Devils versus Hurricanes Game

Few matches have been as exciting as the recently played one between New Jersey Devils and Carolina Hurricanes. Rookie Adam Henrique had his fans absolutely dejected for a few minutes with a self-side goal in the recent NHL encounter. However, he came back into the game with a scoring goal to lift the team back on the lead. Before the apocalyptic self-side goal from Henrique, the Devils were ahead of the Hurricanes 2-1. By tying the score, Henrique could have been morally beaten for any better luck in the rest of the match. However, the rookie scored one himself, giving his team a 3-2 victory over the Hurricanes in the New Jersey match.
Henrique who is only 21 years old, had scored a victory goal in the previous match as well. With the self-side mistake, he could have easily slipped from being a favorite to being the villain for Devils fans. Moreover, with the goals against the Hurricanes, he proved to be one of the few players to have scored winning goals in consecutive matches. Although the player is renowned for exceptional skill, the mistake he made could have been too costly, especially as his team needed this victory to stay up in the season’s rankings. A tie would have only meant that they slid one or two positions on the charts.
Carolina Hurricanes went down to a masterful set of moves shown by Henrique after the embarrassing mistake. In a press meet after the game, Henrique told journalists that he knew that if he had to bring the game back, the last thing he should do is be dejected as his fans were. Moreover, he said that he also had enough time to make his team recover from the position. Such mental strength has become inspirational for his fans, and their coach had all the praise he could afford for the young talented player.
Peter DeBoer, who coached the Devils for the last few matches, went on record to say that Henrique was bestowed with great skill, speed and temperament. He also said that his physical attributes seemed to have been of much advantage to him as well. Thinking of placing a bet? Not entirely certain which bet is best for you?
