Australia Victory against Germany for the First Time in the 24 Year of the Hockey Tournament

The World Cup Hockey Tournament was held on March 13, 2010. In the tournament the twelve countries fought against each other. Out of twelve Australia and Germany fought in the finals.
Germany and Australia top world hockey teams
Germany and Australia fought the finals three times in a row. Out of which Germany won the two matches and one won by the Australia.  Both Australia and Germany are the peak hockey teams according to the record created by them.
Six matches played by each team
Both Australia and Germany played 6 matches in Delhi. Out of 6 matches Australia won 5 matches and one match it lost against England. Out of 6 matches Germany won 4 matches and 2 matches went draw.
Germany V/s Australia
During final fight Australia was ahead of Germany. The German also answered out with full flange. Australia grips a chance of penalty corner but was stopped by the German goal keeper. Australia again had another chance but German goal keeper played well keeping out of the pace.

In the second phase again Australia grip a chance of penalty corner but the German goal keeper manage to defend the goal. For the short time span Germany propel Australia to break up but Australia got penalty corner. This time Australia managed to put the ball in the goal.
Applause in atmosphere by Indian spectators
The Indian spectators encouraged the players in the sportive manner. Once and twice more the Australia got the penalty corner out of which only once they manage to goal. When the last five minutes left both the team played with energy. Germany played against Australia at the same pace. At the end of the match Germany was not able to break the circle of Australia. Last but not least Australia brags the World cup trophy for the year 2010.
Thus, Australia defeated the world champions Germany for the first time in the last 14 years of the tournament.
